NADCA - The Voice of the Die Casting Industry

The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) is a trade association advancing the North American die casting industry by providing resources to help members solve technical, operational and business challenges. The knowledgeable and engaged NADCA staff also works to raise overall awareness of the die casting industry’s critical role in manufacturing.

Founded in 1989, NADCA is the result of a merger of the American Die Casting Institute (ADCI) and the Society of Die Casting Engineers (SDCE). With members representing 500 companies across North America, NADCA is the premier resource for all businesses that design, purchase and produce die cast parts, as well as those companies affiliated with the die casting industry.

Commitment to Sustainability

The die casting industry has a long, rich history of recycling. Continuing this tradition, NADCA and its member companies apply sustainability principles in the manufacturing and distribution of die castings. Metal alloys used by die casters are produced from recycled raw materials, which use far less energy than virgin alloys.

RecycleProduction from raw recycled materials
Over 95% of aluminum die castings produced in North America are made of post-consumer recycled aluminum.

Energy-saving equipment
Die casting facilities use advanced electric aluminum melting, distribution and holding systems that reduce the amount of energy needed to melt aluminum by 80%.

Closed loop system
Die casters have successfully implemented a closed loop system to recycle and reuse as much material as possible within their processes.
ISO Environmental Certification
This certification emphasizes a company’s current and future commitment to reducing their environmental impact through the reduction of waste water, energy and solid waste.
