NADCA Scholarship Program Now Accepting Applications

The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) is now accepting applications for the David Laine Scholarship, open through October 1.

David Laine played a pivotal role in establishing safety standards in the die casting industry and was a founder of the Die Casting Research Foundation. He was also a strong advocate for the industry in Washington, D.C., championing legislation and programs that supported die casting and the many industries it serves.

Established in 1975 as a tribute to David Laine, the scholarship is funded entirely through contributions from both corporate and individual supporters within the die casting community.

Eligibility: Any student pursuing an undergraduate, master’s, or doctorate degree who has worked or interned at a die casting company or a supplier to the die casting industry is encouraged to apply.
In 2024, NADCA awarded over $25,000 in scholarships to 10 outstanding students across North America.
