PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER 

The PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER will serve as a liaison between Customers and Production Castings. They will generate improvement to existing products and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production process throughout the plant.
  • Update and provide improvement to in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods, devising test methods / procedures, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Support current ISO9001 certification.
  • Attend audits with certifying bodies and customers. Interact & support customers during audits and visits.
  • Work with other departments to develop and implement effective corrective and preventative actions from internal and external failures.
  • Manage significant Supplier quality issues.
  • Manage the Corrective / Preventative action program including the Returned Good Log.
  • Evaluate monthly PPM levels and report the top 3 costs to Quality.
  • Support the Vice President of Quality anticipating problems, providing input on solutions, reacting productively to change and handle other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year or equivalent Co-op experience in a manufacturing organization.
  • Computer skills.
  • Analytical skills (cause and effect).
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Ability to see a project from beginning to end, multitasker with ability to finish the job.
  • Ability to communicate and express ideas clearly, across all levels of the organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
