    POSITION SCOPE:
    Performs a wide variety of diversified installation, repair maintenance and service operations on all plant machinery, equipment and facilities. Diagnoses and corrects difficulties found in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic operation of equipment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

    Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues, wear and tear, and areas that require maintenance.
    Follow established maintenance schedules to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacements, and cleaning, to prevent breakdowns.
    Replace or repair worn or damaged components during inspections.
    Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including dates, parts replaced, and any issues detected.
    Use predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis, to identify potential issues before they lead to major failures.
    Perform welding (MIG, TIG, stick), as needed for fabrication.
    Operates forklift as required.
    Assist in wastewater management including monitoring and spill cleanup, as needed.
    Able to create and utilize work order system properly documenting actions and time.
    Properly completes daily paperwork.
    Maintain clean and orderly (5S) work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations.
    Work safely around and/or while operating heaving equipment or manufacturing machinery.
    Work overtime hours as required and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises.
    Regularly report for work on time with a desire to perform to the best of your abilities.
    Other duties are assigned from time-to-time.
    Comply with all company employment policies, procedures/processes, and programs. Performs duties in compliance quality, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes, and programs.
    Participate in continuous improvement activities.
    Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.

    CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, and WORK EXPERIENCE:
    Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.
    High School Diploma, preferred.
    Basic computer skills.
    systems, required.
    Experience or training in use of testing equipment.
    Forklift, crane, hoist experience, required.
    Lockout tagout experience, required.

    PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to continuously and repetitively:
    Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
    Read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections.
    Promptly detect and respond to visual and auditory safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
    Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and steel-toed safety shoes.
    Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold).
    Lift or carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds and periodically caring or lift materials weighing up to 50lbs.
    Bend, push, pull, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work.
    Use hand positioning to grip/grasp parts and a wide range of power and vibrating tools or other equipment.
    Able to visually see close, distant, and in color. Able to adjust eye focus to bring an object into sharp focus when needed. Able to utilize peripheral vision and depth perception.
    Frequently and repetitively:
    Climbing and crawling to perform work.
    Occasionally:
    Lift or carry materials weighing up to 51 pounds and periodically care or lift materials weighing up to 100lbs.
    Recognizes potential exposure to environmental, mechanical, chemical, electrical, and explosive hazards.
