Pace Expands Plant Closures

Pace Industries, a die casting manufacturer, is set to shutter its Muskegon-based plants. The sites, at Latimer Drive and Black Creed Road, will close April 25.

According to the company’s website, Pace Industries is “North America’s leading full-service aluminum die casting, zinc die casting and magnesium die casting manufacturer.”

The company, which was established in Arkansas in 1970, recently relocated to Metro Detroit in an effort to be closer to the auto industry, officially moving its global headquarters to Novi in 2021.
