NADCA Seeks Student Resumes for Intern Program
NADCA offers internship and scholarship opportunities to college engineering students, and is asking you to help spread the word. The association is currently gathering resumes for its Intern Program, which will be promoted to die casting industry executives and HR departments across North America. Students that wish to be considered for an internship should send their resumes to firstname.lastname@example.org with a general letter of interest -PDF documents preferred- by February 25 (however, resumes will continue to be added as they are received). Students must note the geographic area where they are able to work and that will be included in the student database.
Interested companies will have access to the password-protected resume database in March, and can contact students directly.
NADCA also encourages students to familiarize themselves with, if not consider joining FEF (Foundry Educational Foundation). FEF’s mission is to strengthen the metal casting industry by supporting unique partnerships among students, educators, and industry, helping today's students become tomorrow's leaders. The organization shares internship postings and offers scholarship opportunities to students that have interned/co-opped in the metal casting industry. Current intern offerings may be viewed at: http://fefinc.org/employment/job-listings.html.
Please help share this information about these opportunities to any engineering students (or families with engineering students) that you may know. To learn more about the David Laine Intern & Scholarship Program, visit: https://www.diecasting.org/scholarship.
