"Design for Die Casting" Materials

A range of engineering bulletins, design manuals and a self-instructional video are published by NADCA for OEM product engineers. All of these materials can be valuable resources for the students, too!

Many of these publications can be received by engineering students. All of the NADCA design bulletins and manuals are described in the OEM Design Literature section.

"Design for Die Casting" Seminars.

NADCA conducts "Product Design for Die Casting" Seminars each year. While these introductory seminars are presented for the benefit of practicing engineers and specifiers from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), it may be possible for professors to invite students they select to attend such seminars on a space available basis.

Interested students should check the OEM Regional Design Seminars section of this site for the complete seminar agenda and availability of the dates and locations of seminars convenient for them; then contact their instructor and express their interest in attend a seminar.

If your school is not already familiar with this Seminar Educational Outreach Program, request that the appropriate professor call NADCA at (847) 808-3154 or email at least one week prior to the presentation date for the seminar you wish to attend. Be sure to provide a phone and fax number where you can be reached. At the time of this call, NADCA should be able to determine whether your complimentary attendance can be accommodated.
