for the Engineering/Design Student"Design for Die Casting" Materials
A range of engineering bulletins, design manuals and a self-instructional
video are published by NADCA for OEM product engineers. All of these materials can be valuable
resources for the students, too!
Many of these publications can be received by engineering students. All of the
NADCA
design bulletins and manuals are described in the

Literature section.
"Design for Die Casting" Seminars.
NADCA conducts "Product Design for
Die Casting" Seminars each year. While these
introductory seminars are presented for the benefit of practicing engineers and specifiers
from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), it may be possible for professors to invite students they select to attend such seminars on a space
available basis.
Interested students should check the OEM
Regional Design Seminars section of this site for the complete seminar agenda and
availability of the dates and locations of seminars convenient for them; then contact
their instructor and express their interest in attend a seminar.
If your school is not already familiar with this Seminar Educational Outreach
Program, request that the appropriate professor call
NADCA at (847) 808-3154 or email at least one week prior
to the presentation date for the seminar you wish to attend. Be sure to
provide a phone and fax number where you can be reached. At the time of this
call, NADCA should be able to determine whether
your complimentary attendance can be accommodated.
