Rogers, MN – Midland Technologies is celebrating 20 years serving the die casting industry. Midland started in 1990 designing, building and the repairing plastic injection and die cast molds. Three years later, Midland expanded and constructed its current facility in Rogers, MN.
In 1995, Midland began designing its first Valve-Less Vacuum block, the 5500, and has expanded the line to seven models in three different materials, premium H-13, pre-hard H-13 and beryllium-free copper. Various models and materials are needed to accommodate today’s high quality die casting standards as well as to help further reduce scrap, reduce porosity and minimize downtime due to high maintenance associated with other style vacuum systems.
Midland Technologies offers full technical support, including sizing the vacuum or vent and will design the vacuum or vent runner systems, which is critical for the optimum performance. Midland supplies a copper system if needed and also offers a pre-hard H-13 vacuum or vent for short run or magnesium work which is less expensive than the hardened H-13. In addition, the company also supplies turnkey vacuum pump and control systems for single die casting machines or complete central systems that cover the plant.
