Design Standards & Assistance

The NADCA’s Design Standards contain information on engineering, design, and purchasing data for die castings. This includes: die casting tooling, alloy data, tolerances, quality assurance, quoting checklists, and casting examples. On the website members have access to NADCA’s Design Standards.

Design assistance is readily available through the Design Website. Video modules can assist in the needs of designers. Included on the Website is a link to instant support via email and phone.

Design Seminars

Scheduling a NADCA Design seminar on-site at your company is one of the best ways to increase knowledge about die casting, related to your company’s product line. The NADCA Design seminar covers all stages of a product life cycle from development, design, specification, all the way to manufacturing and beyond.

Conversions to Die Cast Components

The NADCA design assistance program promotes conversions to die casting components by educating designers on the various properties of die casting alloys and the advantages of converting from other manufacturing processes. Upon deciding to use die casting to manufacture products, designers are guided to the online die caster database which is a list of NADCA Corporate Member die casters. This gives Corporate Members exclusive visibility through the NACDA design assistance program.

Design eNewsletter

The Die Casting Design eNewsletter is released once a month to NADCA’s entire design database of 7,500 designers! Corporate Members receive a 50% discount on all Web advertising.
