Die Casting Congress and Tabletop
Paper Submission
Following are the physical components required by NADCA from each author for the submittal of a paper. Together, these items make up a complete submission of a paper for review, for publication in TRANSACTIONS, for the Congress Preview in Die Casting Engineer, or other publications and for presentation.
1. ELECTRONIC FILES
NADCA requires that an electronic file
in Microsoft Word format containing all text of the
paper be submitted through the
author website.
2. FORMATTING
All Papers and PowerPoint Presentations must be submitted using the
Templates.
3. GRAPHICS
All graphics should be embedded in the submitted paper. All artwork must
be free of commercialism; no company names or trade names should appear
on them.
4. CAPTIONS
All captions must be formatted per the Paper
Template.
5. FORMULAS
Because formulas require special typesetting and cannot be reproduced
from the manuscript, they require special handling in the manuscript.
Formulas should be identified by placing a numeral within parenthesis at
the end of each formula text.
6. ANIMATIONS
Any animations that are sent for the presentation of the paper must be
sent as separate files, not embedded files in PowerPoint or Word. The
files need to be an .AVI, .MPEG or .MOV.
7. AUTHOR’S BIOGRAPHY
The author’s biography will appear, together with the abstract, in the
NADCA Show Issue. The biography should contain the author's education,
previous and current positions and other relevant professional
background information such as patents, awards, publications, etc.
NOTE: Papers that do not adhere to the guidelines above will be returned.
