In addition to the airport transfer, the IndyGo (www.indygo.net) bus system operates routes all around the city, for as little as $1.75 per ride. Megabus (us.megabus.com) and Greyhound (www.greyhound.com) terminals are also located downtown.
Indy just opened the new Julia M. Carson Transit Center downtown that gives nonstop bus rides from 5 a.m. to midnight Monday-Saturday and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
Taxis are readily available at the airport, Indiana Convention Center, Circle Centre mall and major hotels. A typical fare from the airport to downtown is $35, and a $5 flat rate is available for most trips within the downtown area.
