New Webinar Series Coming Soon on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

This course will go through the fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). It will start with BASIC mechanical drawing and how drawings are constructed. Once good drawing practices are established, how to dimension a drawing will be reviewed. Then, starting with an overview of GD&T, the course will review the rules that support GD&T. It will then go through all the GD&T symbols and their application. The course will present the way to read and interpret GD&T on a drawing and will establish how to use and interpret datums, position tolerancing and bonus tolerances. Finally, it will define the conditions of GD&T by reviewing examples of each of the GD&T symbols.

Part 1: Mechanical Drawing - This part will establish the basics for mechanical drawing. What is a drawing, how drawings are constructed and the use of good drawing techniques when making mechanical drawings.
Date: March 20, 2019

Date: March 27, 2019

Part 4: Datums and Tolerancing using GD&T - For this final course, the construction of datums will be reviewed and how those datums define die castings. This will also review position tolerancing and bonus tolerances. Finally, the defining conditions of GD&T will be reviewed in detail using examples of each of the GD&T symbols.
