Description:
The operator will learn about the size and scope of the die casting industry in the United States and North America. They will learn where die castings are used and why designers like die castings. In the safety portion, the operator will learn about various facets of safety around the die casting machine. In this 60 minute presentation the types of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to wear, burn hazards, pinch hazards, safety around molten metal, and the do's and don'ts to operate a machine safely will be addressed.
