Even though electricity is one of industry’s leading causes of death, electrical hazards do not always receive the attention they deserve. Electrical hazards range from a low voltage shock, up to an arc flash or arc blast. This course will discuss the different electrical hazards that are common in die casting and how to prevent injury from them. Also, this course will define what arc flash and arc blast are, along with what can be done to prevent them.
