Nominate a Leader in Die Casting for the 2025 Herman H. Doehler Award
Do you know someone who has made a lasting, outstanding contribution to the die casting industry? Now’s the time to recognize their achievements!
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Herman H. Doehler Award, the highest honor presented by the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA). This prestigious award celebrates individuals who have made significant advancements in the die casting industry or the art of die casting.
The award will be presented during the Die Casting Awards Luncheon on October 8, 2025, at the Die Casting Congress & Tabletop in Milwaukee, WI.
Selection Criteria
Nominees will be evaluated based on contributions in one or more of the following areas:
Technical Achievement
Noteworthy scientific contributions in metallurgical or engineering that enhance the die casting process, including innovations in alloys, die steels, machine design, finishing, and more.
Advancement in Plant Operations
Accomplishments in plant management or operations that significantly improve safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, including mechanical innovations or procedural enhancements.
Other Significant Contributions
Efforts not primarily scientific or operational, but which elevate the industry’s reputation, visibility, and overall progress.
All contributions will be considered for their lasting impact and relevance to the industry as a whole.
How to Nominate
Please submit your nomination in writing by July 11, 2025.
Include:
A detailed description of the nominee’s contributions that align with the criteria above.
Names of any NADCA members supporting the nomination.
All nominations will be reviewed by the NADCA Awards Committee.
