Magna Earns Five 2025 General Motors Supplier of the Year Awards

Magna has been recognized by General Motors with five 2025 Supplier of the Year awards, reinforcing the company’s role as a trusted, high‑performing contributor across multiple product commodity teams and global programs.

Magna received Supplier of the Year recognition in the following categories within the Creativity Team:
Frames
Transfer Cases
Rubber Sealing
Exterior Moldings
Fascias

The 2025 recognition builds on more than 40 GM Supplier of the Year awards earned by Magna over the last decade, reflecting consistent performance, innovation and operational excellence across multiple product areas and regions.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our teams and the breadth of solutions we deliver for GM,” said Eric Wilds, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer at Magna. “Being recognized across five Creativity Teams reflects what’s possible when teams are aligned early and work transparently through change — the way GM consistently engages with us. We’re proud of the role our teams play in helping GM deliver for its customers.”

Award recipients are selected by a global, cross functional GM team based on performance throughout the year and alignment with GM’s core values and strategic priorities.

"Supplier of the Year is one of those key moments our whole team looks forward to every year because it highlights the partnerships behind every vehicle we build,” said Shilpan Amin, Senior Vice President, Global Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer, General Motors. “The results our suppliers deliver throughout the entire product development cycle are central to our ability to deliver world-class vehicles to our customers. When our suppliers, such as Magna, lean in with us on new technology and flawless execution, we can move faster, compete harder and unlock more value across the entire supply chain."
