CT Scanning for Die Casting—Real Cases, Real Insights, Real Results

This 3-part webinar series will provide an overview of the use of CT scanning for die casting applications

Part 1 - CT Scanning Applied to Die Casting
The first part of the webinar series will provide an overview of the use of CT scanning for die castings.  While CT scanning is primarily used for the measurement and characterization of porosity in die castings, it can also be used to characterize surfaces for both single castings and assemblies, as well as to provide reverse engineering when a casting drawing or model is not available.  All three applications will be reviewed.

Part 3 - CT Scanning Research
The third part of the webinar series will summarize research published in three papers at the NADCA Congress, showing the capabilities of the CT scanning process to measure and characterize the porosity in several different types of die castings.
