Industry research objectives for NADCA have been previously established. Although reviewed periodically, they continue to represent the key areas to which efforts are applied in order to achieve technological advancement necessary for the die casting industry to be as competitive as possible with alternate casting and fabrication methods.

Rather simply stated, the objectives are to:

• Improve casting integrity
• Improve die casting alloys
• Increase die life Improve quality and lead times through process simulation
• Implement high integrity casting technology
