This volume, combining text and graphics provides the die casting industry with a rapid cost estimation tool for die casting, trim and secondary operations. Text and software are designed specifically for the die cast operation, utilizing die cast specific cost drivers. The program utilizes a data driven cost estimation process to produce a more accurate and time-efficient estimate. The software included allows a die caster to easily implement the concepts described in the book, including maintaining a historical cost database, assessing cost drivers and calculating the cost estimate.
