On the advice of council, NADCA has initiated a policy with regards to articles and books published by the association. The policy is necessary to protect the association and its author/contributors from unauthorized use and/or redistribution of any article or book published by the association. 

The "Contributor's Agreement" assigns the copyright of the article to the association. This agreement does not preclude the originating author(s) from using the information in the article in other forms. It also does not limit any other party from taking information from the article and using it in any manner. The agreement assigns the copyright of the article, as laid out by NADCA, to NADCA, therefore, barring anyone from taking the article, as laid out, and offering it for sale without NADCA’s authorization.

It is essential that we have this agreement on file. We will not publish an article unless an agreement is received from each author of the paper. As the key author of the Congress paper, forms for all of the co-authors have been sent to you. Please send the completed forms to NADCA by February 27, 2009.
